Detailed Itinerary
DAY 01ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU
Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400M). Meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Evening free to explore Thamel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 02KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING
Visit Pashupatinath, Guheswori, Budhanilkantha, and Doleswor Mahadev. Attend detailed Yatra briefing and packing preparation. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 03KATHMANDU - TATOPANI (KODARI)
Drive (7-8 hrs) through lush hills to Tatopani near the Kodari border (2,300M). Overnight in Kodari.
DAY 04CROSS BORDER TO NYALAM
Cross Nepal-Tibet border after immigration. Drive to Nyalam (3,700M). This marks the start of the Tibetan adventure. Overnight in Nyalam.
DAY 05NYALAM - SAGA
Drive (6-7 hrs) to Saga (4,640M) crossing mountain passes with panoramic Himalayan views. Overnight in Saga.
DAY 06ACCLIMATIZATION IN SAGA
Rest day in Saga to acclimatize to high altitude. Light walks recommended. Overnight in Saga.
DAY 07LAKE MANASAROVAR
Drive (6-7 hrs) to Lake Manasarovar (4,590M). Take a holy dip or meditate by the tranquil waters with Mt. Kailash visible. Overnight at guesthouse near Lake.
DAY 08MANASAROVAR - DARCHEN
Morning prayers. Drive (2-3 hrs) to Darchen (4,575M), the base camp for Kailash Kora. Rest and prepare for trek. Overnight in Darchen.
DAY 09KORA BEGINS: TO DIRAPUK
Trek (13 km / 5-6 hrs) from Darchen to Dirapuk (4,900M). First breathtaking view of Kailash North Face. Overnight in Dirapuk guesthouse.
DAY 10CROSS DOLMA LA PASS
Trek (22 km / 8-9 hrs) crossing Dolma La Pass (5,636M), the highest point. Descend past Gauri Kund to Zuthulpuk. Overnight in Zuthulpuk guesthouse.
DAY 11TREK ENDS - DRIVE TO SAGA
Short trek (12 km / 4-5 hrs) back to Darchen to complete the Parikrama. Drive back to Saga. Overnight in Saga.
DAY 12SAGA - NYALAM
Retrace the route across the Tibetan plateau to Nyalam. Overnight in Nyalam.
DAY 13NYALAM - KATHMANDU
Drive back to Kathmandu via Kodari border (7-8 hrs). Evening leisure. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 14DEPARTURE
Transfer to airport for onward journey. Tour concludes.
